Fitted with exclusive 19-inch wheels with ample 255/35 tires at the front and 285/30 at the rear catch your eye.

All this is certainly nice looking and sensible, but what you glimpse through the spokes of the aluminum wheel rims is even more exciting: a generously sized fixed caliper brake system with six pistons at the front and four at the rear.

Even when you see it from a distance, you are instantly electrified. As a BMW M enthusiast, every step you take towards the orange painted concept vehicle of the BMW M3 GTS with its numerous matte black applications raises your adrenaline level a little more.

The wheels almost fill out the wheel arches, but if you look closely you discover the next highlight. Yellow springs with a small M logo provide the crucial clue: a threaded suspension, adjustable in compression and rebound. “The rear axle support is bolted in place,” adds the responsible engineer.

The expert will also spot the adjustable front splitter and rear wing. One thing is clear: this car is serious stuff. Not only can a high level of downforce be generated but it also precisely adjustable at front and rear. Fast bends can look forward to welcoming the BMW M3 GTS – but they won’t get to see it for long.

So the BMW M3 GTS concept vehicle puts the scales up to around 1490 kilograms – causing the engineer to give an appreciative nod. And the drivetrain? The heart of the BMW M3 GTS?

The car is fitted with a 7-speed M dual clutch transmission with adapted shift characteristics. But an absolute highlight is to be found under the bonnet. Exclusively for the BMW M3 GTS, the engine builders of BMW M – recent winners of the Engine of the Year Award once again – have developed a power unit based on the M high-performance engine of the current BMW M3: with a capacity of 4.4 litres and an output of some 450 bhp, it will catapult the light BMW M3 GTS into a whole new sphere.

After all, the aim is to clearly beat the lap time of the legendary M3 CSL on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. And test runs certainly give grounds for optimism.

The iBend stand from Widget Factory is a pretty nifty, little accessory for your iPhone or iPod Touch if you use your device to watch videos. The main selling point here is that the stand is superslim. It’s a flat sheet of flexible plastic that you can store in your wallet or the back of your iPhone’s protective cover (slip it between the cover and the back of your iPhone) and bend into a stand when needed.

Use your iBend on a plane, bus, or train – whilst lifting weights, eating breakfast, waiting at the sushi bar, getting your teeth cleaned, at a business meeting, sitting in traffic, serving on a jury or practicing yoga.

The slenderness of the iBend allows you to easily store it in your wallet, pocket or purse so you’ll always have one handy. I personally love all the cool designs that they come in, and the convenience factor of being able to keep one in your wallet. Definitely going to pick a couple of these up to test out. I’ll let you all know how they work out.

inPulse is a watch which connects wirelessly to your phone by BlueTooth®, alerting you instantly of incoming emails, SMS and Phone Calls. inPulse extends the functionality of your BlackBerry smartphone, so when you’re in a pinch you can check your inPulse instead of fumbling around with your phone.

inPulse features an elegant user interface with 1 button interaction. It grabs important information like, caller ID, text messages, email titles, calendar alerts and displays it on a colour OLED screen. The watch body is crafted from high-grade materials and is fitted to a custom wrist band. It also allows you to read recent Tweets from Twitter, or any updates from your RSS feeds, but i’d rather read them directly off my device, so I wouldn’t look crazy staring at my watch during a meeting.

Now don’t get it mistaken, this is not a BlackBerry Watch, but a watch that connects to your BlackBerry over bluetooth so that you don’t always have to grab your device from your holdster to see who’s trying to contact you.

Its that time of year again! The time to donate a part of your face and grow a Mo’ to raise money for Prostate Cancer research.

The idea for Movember was sparked in 2003 over a few beers in Melbourne, Australia. The guys behind it joked about 80s fashion and decided it was time to bring the moustache back. In order to justify their Mo’s (Australian slang for moustache), they used their new looks to raise money for prostate cancer research… never dreaming that facial hair would ultimately lead to a global movement that would get men talking about a taboo subject – their health.

"Mo Man" Tom Selleck

A Mo Bro starts Movember – the month formerly known as November – clean shaven, and grows a moustache all month long, garnering support from friends and family in the form of donations. What’s more, a Mo Bro is a walking billboard for the cause as his new look opens the door for him to talk about prostate cancer – making the moustache a symbol, much like the pink ribbon is for breast cancer. Each Movember culminates in a Gala Partè in major cities around the globe where Mo Bros dress up to match their Mo, channeling the likes of Tom Selleck, Gandhi and Ron Burgundy, vying for the ultimate accolade: Man of Movember.

The money raised in Canada goes directly to Prostate Cancer Canada. Prostate Cancer Canada will use the money raised by Movember for the development of programs related to awareness, public education, advocacy, support of those affected, and research into the prevention, detection, treatment and cure of prostate cancer.

In 2008 the Movember campaign in Canada raised $2.4 million making it the largest charity event for men. Significantly, awareness of men’s health issues has improved with Movember helping to spread important health messages directly to thousands of Mo Bros & Sistas.

Join our team and grow a Mo to raise money for this great cause here

In 2004, TAG Heuer unveiled the Monaco V4 Concept Watch, the world’s first watch with belt drives, linear mass and ball bearings. It’s taken 5 long years, but on the eve of its 150th anniversary, TAG Heuer has unveiled to the world what many industry insiders said would never see the light of day: The Monaco V4 in commercial production. Double-patented Monaco V4, 100% TAG Heuer-made, outdoes its own legacy. A bold technical masterwork unlike any watch ever seen or imagined, it both exemplifies luxury Swiss watchmaking tradition at its finest, and completely turns that heritage upside down and inside out.
